The sex kitten who deflated Anthony Weiner’s dreams of running the Big Apple wants to shimmy her way into the hottest political event of the season.
Sydney Leathers popped up on Twitter Thursday to try to score a ticket to Mayor-elect Bill de Blasio’s Jan. 1 inauguration — arguing that she rescued the city from a Mayor Weiner.
Weiner — who is not expected to score an invite to the City Hall ceremony himself — also turned to social media Thursday to acknowledge that 2013 wasn’t a very good year.
The surgically enhanced brunette who was the sexting partner of “Carlos Danger” said the city owes her big time.

“In my mind, de Blasio will bring me out like a show pony & give me a key to the city for saving it from Weiner,” she tweeted.
“If you’re not taking me as your date to de Blasio’s inauguration, I hate you,” she wrote in another cheeky post, trying to extend her 15 minutes of fame.
The buxom Hoosier, 23, floated her dream job in the new administration: “Sexter-in-chief.”
Weiner — who lost any hope of winning the Democratic primary for mayor when his phone dalliances with Leathers became public last July — gave the world yet another dose of his self-absorbed musings.
He acknowledged on his professional Facebook page that this year “didn’t go as I had hoped.”
“I continue to be deeply sorry that my personal mistakes undermined an amazing campaign that included too many amazing staffers to mention and hundreds of volunteers,” he wrote, adding that he wishes for “a better 2014.”
Others expressed disappointment that Weiner’s serial sexting led to his political demise — and even suggested possible career moves for him.
“You are right and could have been a contender if you controlled your sex urges and didn’t flash your junk on twitter,” wrote Joseph Aiello.
Weiner took to Facebook to admit that 2013 has been a disappointing year for him.
“Open a chain of restaurants called Weiner’s Wieners,” he recommended.
Weiner said in his post that he would support de Blasio and keep fighting “the tea party wackadoo wing” of the Republican Party.
“Our team has to be a font of ideas and debate,” he wrote. “I tried to run my campaign on this theme and the response was amazing. (Who knows, maybe I have a third book of ideas in me!)”
In a separate post on his personal Facebook page, Weiner added a photo of Jordan — his son with Hillary Clinton aide Huma Abedin — who just celebrated his second birthday.
In the picture, the adorable child waves a pair of maracas in the air.
The affectionate caption reads: “Jordan raises the roof after crushing his first two years. His mom and dad join him in wishing you a sweet new year.”
