Jen Selter is a young fitness fanatic who has kept her rear assets well-toned at the gym, where she apparently does the elliptical, a gazillion squats and lunges, exercise-ball calisthenics…and we’re way too exhausted to imagine what else.

Were she merely a genetically blessed young lady, her posterior might have been her biggest claim to fame. But as we’ve just learned, that’s not the case. Beginning in March 2012, Selter, who also has her own web page, started taking Instagram photos of herself working out at the gym in Long Island, and those photos of Selter on various machines or doing floor exercises, as well as bathing suit shots showcasing the results of her work have generated 2 million awestruck followers on Instagram.
That kind of attention is unusual, and companies looking for talented social media users know it.

Now, as the New York Post’s Page Six pointed out Wednesday, Selter has signed with a big sports management company called The Legacy Agency, which represents baseball stars Carl Crawford and Johan Santana, NFL players Osi Umenyiora and Reggie Bush, and sports broadcasters Troy Aikman and Dan Hicks.

“We believe she can be the next Jillian Michaels,” said TLA agent Andrew Witlieb, even though Selter, 20, has no formal fitness training, compared to experienced trainer Michaels, 39, who’s a judge on NBC’s “The Biggest Loser.” “Jillian didn’t get to where she is until her mid-30s. Jen’s going to grow as a person, as a fitness expert, in these next years. She’s here for the long term,” Witlieb added.
